Hi, I’m Biddie. Yorkshire born and bred just outside the fab city of York itself. I returned to my roots in 2016 with a passion for helping women establish themselves within their own body, taking control and empowering themselves with knowledge and the ability to prioritise their self care. An area many of us struggle with; feeling it’s selfish, or that we don’t have the time or money to spend on ourselves.
I believe passionately that the journey of motherhood starting from pregnancy and reaching way into menopause can be a rewarding, joyful and challenging time. In that time we can learn how to be at one with our body, how to nourish and support it respectfully.
I understand the balancing act of being a mum, being me, a work colleague, a friend, a business owner and all the other roles we fulfill, something I feel so passionately about.
As a single mum I understand how tough it is trying to decide what’s important; juggling the shopping, washing, homework and ‘me time’.
Speaking out about what is often considered to be taboo subject is crucial to break the silence and misinformation surrounding these topics. Being loud and talking about pelvic floor health and strength is allowing it to be brought into the open enabling you to understand more abut how it could be impacting you and what you CAN do, alongside what is advised against doing. This level of knowledge is incorporated into everything I do with great success.
It encompasses a 3 pillar approach of Exercise, Nutrition and Wellbeing; including mind set and habits in this. These elements are so intrinsically connected it’s hard to separate and break them down, which is why they are all incorporated into the Holistic Core Restore® programmes into a perfect synergy. You can exercise but without looking after yourself and eating nourishing foods you simply won’t have the best results you could get and I absolutely love helping women recognise this and seeing their progress.
